Classification of cemented carbide
Cemented carbide components are mainly distributed in three categories:
1、 Tungsten cobalt cemented carbide
The main components are tungsten carbide (WC) and binder cobalt (CO).
Its brand is composed of "YG" ("hard, cobalt" two Chinese phonetic initials) and the percentage of average cobalt content.
For example, YG8 means that the average wco=8%, and the rest are tungsten cobalt cemented carbides with tungsten carbide.
General tungsten cobalt alloys are mainly used in: cemented carbide cutting tools, molds and geological and mineral products.
2、 Tungsten titanium cobalt cemented carbide
The main components are tungsten carbide, titanium carbide (TIC) and cobalt. Its brand is composed of "YT" (the prefix of Chinese Pinyin for "hard and titanium") and the average content of titanium carbide.
For example, YT15 means that the average tic=15%, and the rest is tungsten titanium cobalt cemented carbide with tungsten carbide and cobalt content.
3、 Tungsten titanium tantalum (niobium) cemented carbide
The main components are tungsten carbide, titanium carbide, tantalum carbide (or niobium carbide) and cobalt. This kind of cemented carbide is also called universal cemented carbide or universal cemented carbide.
Its brand is composed of "YW" ("hard" and "ten thousand" Chinese Pinyin prefix) plus sequence number, such as yw1.
Shape classification
Spheroid
Cemented carbide balls are mainly composed of micron sized carbide (WC, TIC) powders of high hardness refractory metals. Common cemented carbides include YG, YN, YT, YW series.
Commonly used cemented carbide balls are mainly divided into YG6 cemented carbide balls YG6X cemented carbide ball YG8 cemented carbide ball Yg13 cemented carbide ball YG20 cemented carbide ball Yn6 cemented carbide ball Yn9 cemented carbide ball Yn12 cemented carbide ball YT5 cemented carbide ball YT15 cemented carbide ball.
Rod body
Cemented carbide rods are mainly characterized by stable mechanical properties, easy welding, high wear resistance and high impact resistance.
Advantages: 1 Good wear resistance; 2. Good corrosion resistance; 3. High toughness; 4. Extrusion and hip sintering.
Usage: cemented carbide rods are mainly used for drill bits, end mills and reamers. It can also be used for cutting, stamping and measuring tools. It is used in papermaking, packaging, printing and non-ferrous metal processing industries. In addition, it is also widely used to process high-speed steel cutting tools, cemented carbide milling tools, cemented carbide cutting tools, NAS cutting tools, aviation tools, cemented carbide drill bits, milling cutter coring bits, high-speed steel, taperd milling cutters, metric milling cutters, micro end milling cutters, hinge pilot, electronic tools, step drills, metal cutting saws, double guarantee gold drills, gun barrels, angle milling cutters, cemented carbide rotary files, etc.
Cemented carbide rods can be used not only for cutting and drilling tools (such as micron, twist drill, drill vertical mining tool indicators), but also as input pins, various roll worn parts and structural materials. In addition, it can be widely used in many fields, such as machinery, chemical industry, petroleum, metallurgy, electronics and national defense industry.
Tabular body
Cemented carbide plate, with good durability and strong impact resistance, can be used in hardware and standard stamping dies. Cemented carbide plates are widely used in electronic industry, motor rotors, stators, LED lead frames, EI silicon steel sheets, etc. All cemented carbide blocks must be checked strictly and only those without any damage, such as pores, bubbles, cracks, etc., can be transported out.
